Each page is built around one practical question: is this microphone responding, are both speakers connected correctly, what refresh rate is the browser receiving, or how consistent is this device under a repeatable workload?
Test My Everything is an independent web utility for checking common device functions, browser performance and human input speed without installing software or creating an account.
Editorial review: September 8, 2026Each page is built around one practical question: is this microphone responding, are both speakers connected correctly, what refresh rate is the browser receiving, or how consistent is this device under a repeatable workload?
Microphone, camera and input tests use browser capabilities directly. Their media and interaction data stay in the active tab. A network connection is used only where the page clearly identifies it, such as the internet speed test.
Browser results are affected by hardware, software, permissions, power settings and the browser itself. We explain those limits instead of presenting a browser measurement as a laboratory diagnosis.
A quick browser test cannot diagnose every hardware fault, but it can answer a useful first question. A moving microphone meter shows that the browser is receiving an audio signal. A channel test can reveal swapped speakers. A full-screen color sequence makes a fixed pixel defect easier to distinguish from dust.
The tools are free to use and designed to provide the result before any explanatory reading. The supporting content then helps people interpret the signal and choose a sensible next step.
Every guide is written around the behavior of the corresponding browser test. We avoid universal performance labels when the browser cannot justify them, distinguish observation from diagnosis, and identify factors that can change a result.
Pages are reviewed when a test changes or when browser behavior makes an instruction inaccurate. Generic advice is kept secondary to specific explanations of permissions, APIs, measurement conditions and repeatability.
Timing tests use the browser's high-resolution clock. Display measurements use animation frames reported to the page. CPU, GPU and storage benchmarks run fixed local workloads. Scores are most useful when the same device, browser version, power mode and thermal conditions are used for both runs.
Our testing methodology publishes the workload and calculation behind each performance result, along with the conditions that commonly distort it.
Test My Everything is not affiliated with a computer manufacturer, operating-system vendor, browser developer or internet provider. References to third-party products describe compatibility or the service used for a measurement; they are not endorsements.
Advertising, when enabled, is kept outside the interactive controls and does not change a score, result or recommendation.
Tests that can run locally do so. The site does not require an identity, profile or uploaded diagnostic file. Details about local storage, permission-based media access, advertising and the network speed test are documented in the privacy and cookie policy.
