An independent browser-diagnostics project.
Test My Everything operates this site and determines how the limited site data described below is handled. The service does not require an account, name, email address or uploaded diagnostic file. This policy covers the public website, its browser tests, local preferences, network measurement and advertising technologies when enabled.
Privacy is the default.
Test My Everything provides browser-based device diagnostics and human-performance tests. The core tests are designed to run locally in your browser without creating an account.
Media and input stay local.
When you choose to test a microphone or camera, your browser may ask for permission. The resulting audio or video stream is processed on your device for the live test and is not recorded or uploaded by Test My Everything.
Keyboard, mouse, touchscreen and gamepad inputs are used only to update the test interface. Browser, display, CPU and GPU tests read information that your browser makes available and execute temporary workloads on your device.
Personal bests stay in your browser.
Reaction-time, click-speed and typing-speed tests may save a personal best in local browser storage. This information is tied to that browser profile, is not sent to us and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser.
We also store your advertising choice locally under tme-advertising-v1 for up to 180 days. This preference is used to remember whether you allowed or rejected advertising; it is not an advertising identifier.
The disk speed test creates a temporary 32 MB file inside the browser's origin-private storage, measures writing and reading it, and then requests deletion of that file. It does not inspect your personal files.
Only generated test traffic is transferred.
The Internet Speed Test starts only after you select its start button. It exchanges generated download and upload payloads with Cloudflare's speed-test endpoints to estimate bandwidth, latency and jitter. It does not upload your documents, photos, messages or other personal file content.
Our lightweight configuration transfers no more than roughly 25 MB per complete test and disables the module's final-results logging endpoint. Cloudflare still processes the measurement requests as the network provider under its privacy policy.
Ads are separate from the tests.
Our banner advertising is provided by Adsterra (AD MARKET LIMITED and ADMEDIA LLC FZ). No Adsterra advertising script is loaded until you select “Allow advertising”. If you allow it, Adsterra and its advertising partners may process your IP address, browser and device information, page information, cookies and other identifiers to deliver, personalize and measure advertisements and prevent fraud. This involves requests to third-party servers and may involve processing outside your country.
Advertising areas are labeled “Advertisement” and kept separate from test controls. We do not intentionally send microphone audio, webcam video, typed test text or test scores to advertising providers. Adsterra's data practices, partners, retention information and privacy contacts are described in its privacy policy. Ad content and availability are controlled by the advertising provider.
You control advertising preferences.
You can allow or reject advertising below or at the advertising area on a test page. The same choice is offered to all visitors, regardless of location. Rejecting leaves all tests available. The “Ad preferences” link in the footer always returns here.
Advertising: not enabled.
Your choice lasts up to 180 days in this browser. You can change it here at any time. Rejecting does not limit the tests.
Withdrawing permission prevents future ad loading in this browser; it cannot undo data already processed. Browser controls can block or delete existing cookies and local storage, including third-party advertising data. Clearing site data may also reset saved test scores and your advertising preference. If storage is blocked, your choice may last only for the current page.
A general-audience utility.
This site is designed as a general device-testing utility and is not directed specifically at children. We do not knowingly ask users to provide names, contact details or account information to run a test.
Updates stay visible.
We may update this policy as the site or its service providers change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
